• The 2021 North Carolina Writing Workshop is taking place online, November 12-13. There’s still time to sign up and writers can attend events/workshops from anywhere.

• Oregon Humanities is accepting applications from Oregon writers for the Community Storytelling Fellowship. Three Oregonians will receive $5,000 to share stories from their communities.

• The Open Notebook/Burroughs Wellcome Fund fellowship for early-career science writers is now open for applications. Due date: October 21.
